Bill joined Brown & Korte as an associate in 1995. He was admitted to the Bar in 1971. He was certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1990. In 1995, he completed Mediation and Arbitration training at the University Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
Bill's insurance defence practice encompasses all areas with particular focus on tort claims and professional errors and omissions. He also acts on behalf of property/casualty insurers, general liability insurers and statutory accident benefit insurers.
Bill has appeared on behalf of insurers at all levels of the Ontario courts including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
Bill is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association and the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario Inc.
